Christian Eriksen to Spurs was possible if they’d accepted Inter’s offer

Inter made an offer to the Tottenham Spurs and were hell-bent on getting the amount. However, the Spurs failed to negotiate so they couldn’t sign Eriksen in January. A deal involving Dele Alli could’ve made the move possible. If Dele Alli left Tottenham and moved to PSG, Eriksen could’ve made the move back to his boyhood club.

Eriksen has suffered impeccably at Inter as he was mostly on the bench. Conte and Eriksen have not been allies. Eriksen did not fit into Conte’s system and Conte failed to provide the chances to him. With his consistent performances, Eriksen can make a permanent place in Conte’s squad. Will Tottenham try to sign Eriksen again?
