Inter eye Scamacca as Dzeko’s replacement

Inter eye Gianluca Scamacca as Dzeko’s potential replacement, as the Bosnian striker is yet to sign a new deal. Edin Dzeko wants to sign a two-year deal with Inter, while the Nerazzurri have given him a new one-year deal. His agents had met with Inter to discuss the terms of a new contract, but they are yet to sign a new deal. Dzeko also has plenty of offers from MLS, but the Bosnian striker still has the quality to continue in Europe.

Inter are keeping tabs on other players in the market if Dzeko does not agree to sign their offer. Gianluca Scamacca is one of them, as Inter have been eyeing him since last year. Also, Scamacca has struggled to adapt to the Premier League. West Ham have declined this season, and the Italian striker wants to return to Serie A. He wants to get Roberto Mancini’s attention and become a starter for the Italian national team.

The Nerazzurri want to keep Dzeko, as the Bosnian striker has been a consistent performer this season. Lukaku and Correa were out for most games due to injuries. So Dzeko stepped up and has scored 11 goals this season. However, Inter do not want to rely on him in the future, hence they only want to extend his contract for one year. Scamacca is an ideal candidate to replace him, as the former Sassuolo striker has the height and technical ability to partner with Lautaro.

Gianluca Scamacca is seen as the successor for Immobile. But he will have to perform at a higher level to prove his mettle. Inter will give him the platform to showcase his talent. While West Ham will be looking to sell the Italian striker, as they do not see him as a regular starter. Also, they want to improve other positions, so selling him will help them to fund other deals.
