Inter hold talks with Frattesi, other clubs also keen

Inter Milan hold talks with Frattesi as the Nerazzurri are looking to sign a midfielder in the summer transfer window. The Italian midfielder is one of the best in Serie A, and clubs like Juventus and AS Roma are also after him. The Nerazzurri are looking for a potential replacement for Brozovic, as the Croatian midfielder could leave in the summer. Bepper Marotta had lunch with the Sassuolo CEO to discuss the transfer. Juventus have also held talks as they want a replacement for Rabiot, who is looking to leave as a free agent.

The Nerazzurri were the first to make a move and hold talks with Sassuolo’s CEO. Marotta proposed Samuele Mulattieri in a swap deal to help in negotiations. The Italian striker has scored 12 goals to help Frosinone to get back in the Serie A. Inter need a physical midfielder like him, and are going after a couple of players in the summer. Milinkovic-Savic is another player that Inter are targeting from Lazio, but he would be an expensive buy.

The Bianconeri had the talks later with Giovanni Carnevali as they are extensively searching for Rabiot’s replacement. Sassuolo are planning to change their system next season and shift back to a 4-2-3-1. So they are not looking for a direct replacement for Frattesi. Juve’s Koni De Winter interests Sassuolo the most and could move forward with the deal if the Bianconeri are willing to sell him.

AS Roma have an edge over Frattesi’s transfer as the Italian midfielder is an AS Roma youth product. Also, Frattesi will be willing to come back to his old club, but the Giallorossi are not making moves yet to sign him. Inter also have a pull in the transfer window, as many players would like to join the Champions League finalists.
