Inter monitor Lille duo to bolster their squad this summer

Inter monitor Lille duo to improve their squad this summer. The Nerazzurri will be searching for a striker in the transfer window as Sanchez is likely to leave, and they need a forward for the long term. Jonathan David is one of the best upcoming strikers in Europe, and several clubs are keen to sign him. Inter have sent scouts in France to monitor him and Lille’s fullback, Zeki Celik. The scouts were present in Lille’s game against Lyon, and they managed to win by 1-0. Both of them played a key role in securing the victory for Lille.

Jonathan David broke into the scene last year when he helped Lille to their fourth French championship title in history. He scored 13 goals in the league last season and provided three assists to help his team dethrone PSG. Inter are looking at various options as they search for a young forward who can partner Lautaro in the long run. Celik is a defensive fullback who can give Inter something different in the flank, and Darmian’s contract will end in 2023. He could come for around €15-20 million which Inter can afford.

Arsenal are also keen to sign Jonathan David in the summer as they want a striker after Aubameyang’s departure. Inter will have to face competition if they wish to sign the 22-year old striker this summer. David’s speed and movement will suit Inter Milan’s style of play. He has been playing in a two-striker formation at Lille so he can settle at Inter easily.

The 22-year old currently has a transfer value of €50 million, and it can rise if he continues to perform well this season. The Nerazzurri are also eyeing Scamacca from Sassuolo, and they are looking for other options for this summer.
