Inter plan to extend the contracts of some players in the next month. The Nerazzurri are planning the contract renewal process, as some players will run out of contract in the summer. While some have one or more years left, and others are likely to leave. So Inter are prioritizing the extension of players that will soon be out of contract. The Nerazzurri do not want to repeat Skriniar’s situation and will offer a new contract to players that are important to the club.

Dzeko will be out of contract in June, and the Bosnian striker is still considering his future with Inter. The former Roma striker is being sought by various clubs in Major League Soccer. He will receive better offers, but the competition level will not be up to par. Also, Dzeko still has enough quality to stay in Europe and play in various competitions with Inter.

Inter could sign him permanently by exercising the €7 million purchase option. If Dumfries leaves the club, Inter will consider signing him permanently.

Calhanoglu’s contract will end next year, so Inter still have time to discuss the new deal. However, the Turkish midfielder is a key player in Inzaghi’s system, and Inter want to renew his contract soon. Handanovic and De Vrij will be out of contract in June and could receive a renewal. While, Gagliardini is expected to leave next year.
