Inter praise Milan Skriniar as he helps Inter achieve the important three points. The centre-back has yet again proved to be one of the most important players for the club. However, despite his irreplaceable contributions to Inter, there was a point when he almost completed a move to the Spurs. Skrniar began his career in football with FK Žiar nad Hronom. Further, he joined the youth setup of MŠK Žilina at the age of 12.
He made his first Slovak Super Liga debut at the age of 17 in a match against ViOn Zlaté Moravce. Subsequently, he was sent out on loan to Vion Zlate Moravce in 2013 for half a season. This helped him gain more first-team experience. In January 2016, Sampdoria signed him for four and a half years. After which he made his debut against Lazio in a home win. In the next season, he played an important role in Marco Giampaolo’s Blucerchiati. Thus, he became the youngest defender to make at least 35 appearances in Serie A.
Inter praise Milan Skriniar as he proves his importance yet again
After Inter beat Atlanta in a 2-0 win, Inter have become even stronger in the Serie A. And they gained the necessary three points to maintain their six-point lead over AC Milan. Skriniar was the hero of the match as he scored both the goals for the Nerazzurri. Skriniar had the best chance to make the move to Tottenham Spurs at the beginning of this season. However, Conte stopped the move. Additionally, Inter put a €43 million tag on him, more than the €30 million that the Spurs had to offer.
Inter Milan recently completed 113 years and the occasion is just right as Inter are taking small and successful steps towards winning the Scudetto. This will be their first after 2011. Though there are still 11 games to go. The fans will hope for the winning streak to continue for the Nerazzurri.
