Inter want Donny Van de Beek as they are keen on bringing the 23-year old. However, any new signings by Inter can be made only if they offload certain players. The Nerazzurri are low on cash at the moment. And, Eriksen’s sale is their topmost priority to bag new players for their dream team to win the Scudetto. Just like Eriksen, the former Eredivisie star has mainly been a bench warmer since moving to Old Trafford.
Van de Beek started his career with Ajax on a three-year loan contract in the year 2014. Furthermore, he made his European debut with the senior team at the UEFA Europa League match against Celtic. Ajax won by 2-0 in that match. In 2016, he made his Champions League debut against PAOK, in a 1-1 draw. Plus in the 18/19 season, de Beek played a crucial role as an attacking midfielder for Ajax. He started almost every match, and the team won their first League title in five years. They also qualified for the semi-final of the 2018-19 UEFA Champions League. The Dutch midfielder played really well for Ajax before joining the Red Devils in 2020.
Inter want Van de Beek to enhance the midfield
Inter want Van de Beek to enhance their midfield as they’re struggling with their midfield for a while. The Nerazzurri have Eriksen as an option for the midfield but they have already put him on the transfer list. Nonetheless, Eriksen does not fit well into Conte’s system and the latter does not give him enough chances.
Similarly, Van de Beek has made ten appearances in the Premier League so far and played only one full match. The Dutchman had a couple of great campaigns with Ajax but under the man management of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, he has only started two games in the Premier League. Since Bruno Fernandes is irreplaceable, first-team football is not on cards for him at the moment. Will the Dutch international make a move away from Old Trafford?
