Inter Milan will extend Nicolo Barella’s contract soon. As reported by Calciomercato.com. His current contract is till 2024. But, the Nerazzurri want to keep him for some more time after that. The Nerazzurri are also trying to give the midfielder an improved salary as a mark of his importance to the club. This would count as a reward for his exceptional performances and will ensure that he stays happy at the club. The Italian currently earns a net of €2.5 million per season.

Nicolo Barella has rejuvenated Inter Milan’s midfield since he joined the club in the 2018/19 season. He started his career in Cagliari’s youth academy and then he was signed by Como from Serie B. Antonio Conte called him and convinced him to sign for Inter Milan. Barella settled into the team very quickly and started performing well. He has also performed well at the Euros 2020 and helped Italy to win the tournament. Many clubs like Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Spurs and Bayern have their eye on him.
