Inter’s Brazilian full-back Dalbert is all set to join Real Valladolid this season after a disappointing loan spell with Rennes which occurred back in October 2020. Dalbert joined Inter Milan in 2017 and made his debut in a 3-1 win over A.S. Roma. Furthermore, the Brazilian player moved to Rennes on a season-long loan, but the deal is set to end early. He was sent on loan to AC Florentina for the 19/20 season, but he returned in summer 2020. Moreover, Rennes bagged Dalbert on a loan deal of €2.50 million with a buy option attached, with an unreported fee.
Dalbert has failed to perform at Ligue 1 and was not even on the bench for the past few matches. Lack of intent and poor attitude has played a major role in his bad spell at Rennes. However, the Inter player’s loan spell could end early at Rennes.
Inter’s Brazilian full-back Dalbert can move to Real Valladolid after failing at Rennes
Inter’s Brazilian full-back Dalbert Henriques might join Real Valladolid this season. He plays as a left-back for Rennes, and he has made a total of nine appearances for the club this season. Since Rennes want to end the contract early, Inter will have Dalbert back in the squad. However, Inter cannot afford to spend on his current wages.
Inter are low on cash at the moment after the pandemic has hit the club financially. Furthermore, Inter are already in a dilemma of whether they should bag new players or work with the existing ones. Players like Christian Eriksen and Ivan Perisic are on the transfer list for a while now. Although Conte recently made a statement which he said, he doesn’t ‘want’ any new signings. Amidst this puzzling situation within the club, Inter would want to fix a deal for Dalbert as soon as possible. While the Nerazzurri look out for themselves, will Dalbert’s recent stats allow his move to another club?
