Simone Inzaghi is satisfied with Inter Milan’s transfer window after a couple of concerning phases. The Nerazzurri have upgraded their squad despite having a low budget. Inzaghi has brought in some crucial acquisitions which will help Inter in this long season. They have made improvements in various areas and decided to offload some players that no longer deemed fit in Inzaghi’s plan.

The Nerazzurri’s star signing is Lukaku’s return to the Meazza on a loan deal. After a poor return to his former club Chelsea, the Belgian decided to make a move back to Inter this summer. Inter could not afford to sign him permanently so they decided on a loan move. Also, the Belgian had to take a huge wage cut. With the ‘Lu-La’ duo back in front, Inter’s attack looks sharp as Dzeko had a poor run during the later stages of last season.

The Italian manager finally got a proper backup to Brozovic, as Asllani will improve under the Croatian. He has shown his qualities in pre-season and will help Inter in rotation. Also, Mkhitaryan will give Inter another option in midfield as Barella and Calhanoglu lost their spark during the end. However, the Armenian will have to recover from his hamstring injury soon.

The Nerazzurri secured Onana before the transfer window as Marotta brought him as a free agent. The former Ajax keeper is an heir to Handanovic, who has lost his sharp reflexes in recent years. Bellanova is another great young signing that Inter can develop for the future. Also, Inzaghi finally got his 6th defender, Acerbi on the deadline day in a loan move. Moreover, the departures of Sanchez, Vidal, Perisic, Ranocchia, and Vecino will give Inter some room in their wage bill. Inter also managed to keep their key players like Skriniar and Lautaro despite various rumors.
