Juventus eliminate Inter and reach the Finals of Coppa Italia. The Old Lady came into this leg with a 2-1 advantage. The master could not beat his apprentice, as Pirlo outclassed Conte.
The Nerazzurri had to score more than two goals to get to the Finals. But could not manage to score even once. They had more intent as the game went on but Juventus showed why they have one of the best defence in Europe. The Bianconeri had a fair share of possession as well. Both the sides created several chances, but neither could finish them.

Pirlo was on point with his tactics. He used Danilo and Alex Sandro as inverted full-backs. Both of them joined the midfield to build up easily and get through Inter’s mid-block. While Cuadrado and Bernardeschi hugged the touchline and extended the width of the pitch. They had a solid low block which restricted Inter to get the ball forward. When Juventus lost the ball, Inter managed to create a couple of chances but Lautaro was unable to finish them. De Ligt tightly marked Lukaku and he could not hold up the play like he usually does. Barella created the most number of chances (4) in the match, but Inter could not bury them. Inter pressed very high up the pitch in the second half. For example, Skriniar and Bastoni got forward to press Bernardeschi and Cuadrado while only De Vrij stayed back. But Juventus did not make any mistakes.
Juventus broke the press many times which gave Ronaldo couple of chances. Handanovic made brilliant saves to deny the Portuguese. Conte deployed Eriksen as Vidal was suspended. The Dane was accurate with his passing, but could not unlock the defence and got subbed in the second half. Inter have not been able to score in Turin in their last 7 games. They will now look to focus on Serie A.
