He is versatile and plays on both sides. He came to Inter on a loan from Cagliari at first. However, he signed a permanent contract with Inter in Summer 2020 at €45 million. He is bound to stay at Inter till 23/24 season.
Barella had various offers from massive clubs around the January transfer window. Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Liverpool were amongst them. In fact, Italian media recently claimed that Barella is worth €70 million, which is much more than what Inter signed him for. In fact, the clubs have been under financial constraint since 2020. Nonetheless, Juve and Inter Milan are hardcore rivals. The Bianconneri have eyes on Barella who is an asset for Inter. There is no reason why Conte would let go of his evergreen midfielder.
