Kolarov extends his contract until 2022

Kolarov extends his contract with Inter Milan until 2022 as Simone Inzaghi wants experience and depth in his squad. Aleksandar Kolarov is 35 years old and has been a utility player for Inter Milan. He can play various positions and can offer Inzaghi the depth he might need in the long tournaments. He was expected to leave this season as he started just 11 games for Inter. But now he is willing to stay with low wages. He will get €1.5 million in his new deal. This is half of what he was getting before.

While he is not a key player for Inter on the pitch, he is important for their dressing room. Kolarov has a lot of experience under his belt which can help Inter’s young players and especially Bastoni who plays at a position similar to Kolarov. Also, Inter are not financially stable and having Kolarov as a fourth center back will help them.
