Lautaro Martinez to Real Madrid move in the talks

Lautaro Martinez to Real Madrid move in the talks

Lautaro Martinez to Real Madrid move in the talks reports Italian media. The Argentine forward has reportedly agreed on personal terms with the Spanish Giants. As Real Madrid look to highjack Barcelona’s transfer target Inter will look to cash in on Lautaro. Moreover, if the 23-year-old is in agreement with Madrid over personal terms then he wants to leave Inter. Thus, Inter will have no choice but to let him leave and make the most of it.

The Nerazzurri club reportedly want around €60M plus player deal for Martinez. The player Inter want is Luka Jovic on a possible loan plus buy deal. Jovic moved to Madrid from Eintracht Frankfurt after an amazing season in the Bundesliga.

Moreover, the Serbian has lost his touch since the move. Furthermore, his off-field exploits are making it difficult for the Madrid club to keep backing him. Despite this, Jovic is a real talent at just 22 and can be a very good replacement for Lautaro.

Lautaro Martinez to Real Madrid move will fund N’Golo Kante signing?

The general consensus is that if Inter are letting Lautaro go, they will fund N’Golo Kante’s signing from the money. Moreso when Antonio Conte is so eager to bring the Frenchman to the Nerazzurri club. Inter Vice President and legend Javier Zanetti stated that the club must sell before making any big money buys. Currently, Inter don’t have the funds to go after Kante but Martinez can be sacrificed to bring Kante to the club.

Reports suggest Inter are also having a look at Olivier Giroud. The French forward had a great last season with Chelsea. The 33-year-old will cost only around €7M and can fit well into Conte’s system. But, after his exploits last season, it’s highly unlikely Chelsea will let him go.

If Lautaro Martinez to Real Madrid move happens, Inter will have a lot on their plates. The Nerazzurri club will have another headache in Luka Jovic who is inconsistent. But if the move funds N’Golo Kante successfully and Jovic rediscovers himself at the San Siro, then it will be a win-win for Conte.
