Liverpool eye Marcelo Brozovic from Inter Milan. The Croatian has less than a year left on his current contract with Inter. So the Reds are keen to get him for free next season and will be giving him a huge salary as well. Liverpool are reportedly ready to give Brozovic €7 million net per season if he joins them next year. So Inter will try their best to give the Croatian a new contract this season. Inzaghi feels that he is a very important player in the squad. Bozovic is tasked with screening the defense and also has to link the defense with the midfield. After the inclusion of Calhanoglu, he has even more responsibility to do the defensive work. No one in the Inter squad can replace him perfectly. Hence, Inter wants to give him a new contract soon.
The Nerazzurri will be offering him a new contract with a salary of around €5 million net per season plus bonuses. The Croatian played a big part in Inter’s Scudetto triumph last season as he was a regular for Conte. Brozovic also chipped in with few goals when the team was struggling. Inzaghi will hope that he will continue his good work and help him to defend the title this season.

Liverpool have not yet replaced Gini Wijnaldum, who left them in this transfer window as a free agent and moved to Paris Saint Germain. While Brozovic is not a direct replacement for Wijnladum, he will add quality to their midfield.
The Croatian might also want to go to a new league and the Reds do have a great squad that can lure him. But the Nerazzurri are looking to keep him for a long time and will try to extend his contract soon.
