Marseille are ready to sign Joaquin Correa on a loan deal with an obligation to buy. The Nerazzurri are willing to offload the Argentine forward, as Simone Inzaghi does not have him in his plans. Correa has struggled to adapt at Inter and suffered numerous injuries that restricted his growth. Meanwhile, Inter are looking for a striker, who they can rely on and, who is ready to perform when called upon. Hence, the Nerazzurri are looking to get back to Sanchez, who is familiar with Inter’s style of play.
Alexis Sanchez will be coming as a free agent back to Inter. The Chilean striker left the club on a free transfer after not getting enough chances. But he is ready to come back and settle in the role of a supporting forward now. He had a brilliant season with Marseille, and Sanchez had an underrated stint with Inter, as he usually chipped in with crucial goals when he got his chance. Conte used him perfectly as he played his part in Inter’s Scudetto triumph.
Marseille to sign Correa on loan with obligation to buy
The Nerazzurri were waiting for offers for the Argentine forward this season. However, there were no such proposals for a permanent transfer for Correa. So Inter changed their stance and decided to loan the former Lazio forward out of the club. Since then, Inter have received multiple offers for Correa. RB Leipzig were one of the clubs to go for, but now Marseille are leading the race to get Correa.
Inter have added the purchase option of €15 million in Correa’s deal with Marseille. Both clubs have a good relationship and are close to reaching a full agreement on the deal. Also, Correa’s transfer fees can drop to €12 million if certain conditions are met this season.
