Lautaro Martinez wants to stay at Inter and extend his contract. His agent, Alejandro Camano will go to Inter’s headquarters to talk about renewal, as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport. According to reports, there is around €2 million gap between them and they are looking to resolve it. Inter Milan are looking to extend the Argentine’s contract from 2023 to 2025. They will increase his salary to €5 million net per season, but Camano wants it to be €7 million. Inter are already going to double his salary as he earns €2.5 million net per season currently. So, it remains to be seen if both the parties can reach an agreement.

Inter Milan were ready to extend Lautaro’s contract before with his wages at €4.5 million net per season. But they could not reach an agreement then and now the player and his agent want a significant increase in wages. The Argentine is happy in Milan and wants to stay, despite many lucrative offers from other clubs. Inter Milan also need him, especially after the departure of Romelu Lukaku. He will have to take the responsibility of scoring goals now along with Edin Dzeko.

His agent has had several talks with Inter for renewal. But they could not reach an agreement so he said that he can leave as he has some good offers from other clubs. But, Lautaro has rejected all the offers from Tottenham and Atletico Madrid as he wants to stay at the San Siro.

Inter are ready to give Lautaro a big salary which reflects his importance to the club. But Inter Milan can not apply the Growth Decree to his salary. So, he will have to earn less than Vidal and Sanchez.
