Moving to Inter Milan was easy, says Hakan Calhanoglu as reported by FC Inter News. He talks about how the move happened and what his emotions are after becoming an Inter player. He joined the Nerazzurri last month as a free agent from their city rivals AC Milan. Many Rossoneri fans are sad as he left them to move to their rival club. While Inter Milan had to sign a midfielder as Christian Eriksen might not be available this season because of his health issues.

Calhanoglu said that the move happened very fast as Piero, Inter’s sporting director along with Inzaghi called his agent many times. He said that his agent informed him about the calls. He said okay and the move went quickly after that. Hakan said that the fan’s reaction was normal as he was moving from Milan to Inter. He said he is neither the first nor the last player to move from Milan to Inter. He said he wanted to have a new adventure. Also, he wanted to think about his future, hence he moved to Inter.

Hakan Calhanoglu said that Stefano Pioli wanted him to continue at Milan, but he had respect for what Hakan decided. Next, he talked about Inzaghi’s tactical system. Hakan said that he likes 3-5-2 and can play the role Luis Alberto used to play for him at Lazio. When the interviewer asked him about his record of creating the most chances and assists in Serie A last season, he said that it was because of his manager. Pioli played Hakan in his preferred position which helped him to create many chances. Further, he said that he is waiting for Lukaku and Lautaro to come back and create chances and provide assists to them.

Also, he said that his new jersey number is 20 as Lautaro has 10.
