PSG want Skriniar, Inter won’t loan without buy clause

PSG want Skriniar but Inter don’t want to loan him out without obligation to buy reports Calcio Mercato. PSG are looking for a centre-back to replace Thiago Silva. Silva left Paris when the club decided not to renew his contract. The former PSG skipper is now playing for Chelsea in the Premier League.

Milan Skriniar is one of the prime targets for PSG to replace Silva. The Slovak defender has had a forgetful season with the Nerazzurri. His failure to adapt to Conte’s back three has left Inter susceptible to counters. Moreover, Skriniar is just a shadow of his best self when playing in a back three formation.

Despite this, the Nerazzurri club have ensured Skriniar that he’ll get further chances. Antonio Conte wants the 25-year-old to rediscover himself this season. Skriniar is one of the best centre backs in the world at the moment.

PSG want Skriniar but Inter will only loan with an obligation to buy

PSG want Skriniar

It’s highly unlikely that Inter will want to cash-in on Skriniar. The club is already pushing to offload Diego Godin. Which means that they have instilled faith in the Slovak. Furthermore, Skriniar is young and a very good ballplayer. Conte values his presence on the field and will want him to adapt to the back three system than go out and look for a replacement.

PSG want Skriniar on loan. But the experiences with Ivan Perisic and Nainngolan suggest that Inter are in no mood to loan their top crop. The only way Milan Skriniar can move to PSG is through an outright buy or loan plus an obligation to buy. If Skriniar does go to the French capital, Inter have already identified Chris Smalling as his replacement. Smalling succeeded in his loan spell at Roma and will not mind coming back to the Seria A.
