Vidal has failed at Inter despite Conte’s support

Vidal has failed at Inter after the Nerazzurri brought the La Liga star with high hopes. Inter are known for giving second chances to old players and Arturo is also one such player. In fact, Vidal’s performances are not doing justice to his reputation after his move to Inter in the summer. The Chilean footballer sustained a knee injury in April 2019 and has been facing some minor issues since then. Vidal’s recklessness worked as his strength but his recent performances are all about foolish penalties. The red card against Real Madrid has made things worse for him. The Chilean footballer received two yellow cards and was sent off in the second half as he left Inter with 10 men in a crucial part of the game.

Nonetheless, Inter are focusing on the signing of Rodrigo de Paul this season. While Stefano Sensi can be back on the field to enhance the midfield. Vidal’s poor show of character on the field has embarrassed Conte who put so much on the line to bring him to Inter.

Sensi and de Paul can complete the midfield after Vidal has failed at Inter

Inter have the focus on signing a midfielder in the upcoming January window. While Christian Eriksen’s move away from Inter is undeniable, his presence never made a difference under Conte’s system. At the same time, 25-year-old Sensi’s fitness can fulfil the Nerazzurri’s expectations of winning the Serie A title. According to Sempreinter, after playing a match recently, Sensi revealed that he is feeling better and happy. The only concern with Sensi is if he’s ready to play the full 90 minutes.

On the other hand, Inter have had their eyes on Rodrigo de Paul for a while and would look to sign him in the January window as the youngster can fit well into Conte’s system. Udinese have demanded a sum of €30 million and are hesitant to let go of de Paul. However, Inter will look to get him on an 18-month loan with an option to buy. Will Conte pay the price for signing an out of form and irresponsible Vidal?
