Inter Milan are in talks with Hakan Calhanoglu over a new contract. The Turkish midfielder is reportedly keen on signing for the Nerazzurri soon. However, Tottenham Hotspur have been trying to sign the former AC Milan midfielder over the summer as well. Inter do not want to repeat the same mistake they made with Milan Skriniar this time around, so they will offer the player a new deal to keep him.
Calhanoglu himself is in no rush to move. So Inter want to tie him down to a new deal as he plays a big role in Inzaghi’s setup. The Turkish midfielder has been a vital player for Inter this season, as he covered for Brozovic and replicated his role splendidly. Beppe Marotta is involved in the negotiations with the former Milan midfielder’s agents. The Inter Milan CEO is also working on Bastoni’s new deal.

The North London club are also after Bastoni, but the Italian defender wants to stay at Inter as well.
The Nerazzurri can not afford to lose Calhanoglu as he has uplifted the midfield since joining from AC Milan on a free transfer in a controversial move.
