This opened the gates for more goals, and five minutes later, Dimarco doubled the lead with a precise finish from Calhanoglu’s assist. The third goal came from Marcus Thuram, tapping in a pinpoint cross provided by Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

He then surged towards the penalty box, and netted a powerful strike into the far post from outside the box. The victory has now solidified Inter’s position at the top of the Serie A table.
