Inter on alert as Milinkovic-Savic could leave Lazio

Inter Milan are on high alert as Milinkovic-Savic is looking to leave Lazio this summer. The Nerazzurri are looking to sign a midfielder in the summer transfer window, and bringing Milinkovic-Savic will elevate their option in the middle. The Lazio midfielder is one of the best offensive midfielders in Europe and would attract interest from top clubs soon. However, Inter will have to shell out around €40 million for him, so they will have to make a sale if they wish to go after him.

The Serbian midfielder is not looking to sign a new deal, and Sarri has decided to sell and cash in on him in this summer transfer window. The Genk midfielder has provided eight assists and scored nine goals this season in Serie A. Inter will get another quality option to help offensively and give another dimension to the attack. Milinkovic-Savic is brilliant in the air, and he darts into the box to score from crosses. So he will settle well in Inter’s system as they create loads of chances with crosses from the wing-backs.

Inter on alert as Lazio could sell Milinkovic-Savic

Nicolo Barella is Inter’s only midfielder that likes to move into the box to get at the end of chances. While Calhanoglu and Mkhitaryan like to link up and create chances with their accurate passes. Savic’s physicality will be an added advantage as Inter like to build up in big matches with long balls. The Lazio midfielder is brilliant at winning the second balls. Moreover, Inzaghi knows how to get the best out of him as he managed Lazio. The Serbian midfielder would be comfortable playing under his former boss as well.

However, Milinkovic-Savic could receive more lucrative offers from top European clubs, especially from the Premier League. Arsenal and Newcastle United are monitoring his situation and will be keen to bring him.
