Inter target Tanguy Ndombele from Tottenham

Inter Milan target Tanguy Ndombele from Tottenham Hotspur as they look to complete their midfield options. The Nerazzurri are still in search of a midfielder to fill in for Roberto Gagliardini, who decided to join Monza on a free transfer. Meanwhile, Tanguy Ndombele is not in the plans of Spurs’ new manager Ange Postecoglou, and is looking for a move-out. Inter can benefit from this as they want a cheaper option that is reliable and adds diversity to their existing midfield.

Simone Inzaghi wants to add more physicality to his midfield, as most of them are technical players. Ndombele has the qualities to play in that role. He played a big part in Napoli’s Serie A triumph last season. The Partenopei had Ndombele on loan, and he was the engine of their midfield, running up and down the pitch. Moreover, the French midfielder can carry the ball for long distances and can shoot from a distance.

Inter target Tanguy Ndombele to bolster their midfield

The Nerazzurri are planning to keep Sensi for this season, but Inzaghi is not convinced, as the Italian midfielder has had injury issues. So Inter sees Ndombele as a viable option, who has experience in Serie A. Also, Ndombele will give Inzaghi a different option from the bench with his physicality and flair. Inter have players that are good on the ball and excellent with passing. So Ndombele could elevate other players, and help in the upcoming long season.

Ndombele has struggled to establish his place in Tottenham, and Ange is happy with his current midfielders. Bissouma, Pape Matar Sarr, James Maddison, and Oliver Skipp are the midfielders at his disposal, and the Australian manager is content with them. The Nerazzurri could get Ndombele on a good deal, but they will have to move quickly before the window shuts.
