So the Nerazzurri had to give a powerful response. Lautaro Martinez has continued his fabulous form from last season, as the Argentine striker has scored five goals in three games in Serie A. Moreover, their new signing, Marcus Thuram is contributing now as he scored his first goal for Inter and provided an assist for his captain’s first goal of the game.
The Nerazzurri had a comfortable start to the game by dominating possession, Fiorentina had a chance from distance. But Bonaventura could not keep his shot down. Lautaro and Dimarco then managed to win the ball back high up on the pitch. The Italian defender managed to drive forward and deliver a great cross. Thuram pounced on the ball like a panther to score his first goal in the Nerazzurri colors.

The Nerazzurri later got a penalty as the Danish keeper brought Thuram down in the box. Calhanoglu took the penalty and increased the lead to three. Inzaghi then made plenty of changes and brought some new signings on the pitch.
Juan Cuadrado showed what he brings to the pitch as he provided a rapid cross with a swerve to find Lautaro making the run. The Argentine could not miss this form and completed his brace. Inter managed to keep a clean sheet too, and enter the international break as table toppers in Serie A.
