Inter to meet Chelsea for Lukaku loan deal

Inter to meet Chelsea for Lukaku loan deal

Inter Milan are ready to meet with Chelsea for a Lukaku loan deal extension this week. The Nerazzurri are willing to keep the Belgian striker, but can not afford to sign him permanently. However, Chelsea are not looking to send Lukaku on another dry loan deal. Hence, Inter are going to offer a loan extension with an obligation to buy. So Chelsea will not have to worry about the transfer of the Belgian striker next summer, and Inter will spread out the finances.

The Nerazzurri will put forward a loan deal with lower fees than last year’s €8 million. Inter are willing to put a €5 million loan deal on the table for this season. But for the purchase obligation transfer fees, Inter are not going to go over €30 million for the former Man United striker. After an injury-prolonged season for Lukaku, Inter does not want to bet too much on him. However, he can be an asset coming from the bench. But Inter can not rely on him to start every game of the season.

Chelsea are looking for offers for Lukaku, as they do not see him as a part of their squad going forward. Moreover, they want to sell him soon in this transfer market, but no European club has come forward to sign him permanently. Al-Hilal was ready to move for him, but Lukaku rejected the offer and wants to stay in Milan.

Inter are planning to hold talks this week, as both Chelsea and Lukaku want to wrap up the transfer saga. The Nerazzurri will put forward their loan extension offer along with an obligation to buy. Inter want to be prepared for the next season, hence they are moving forward to have a meeting.
