However, Chelsea are not looking to send Lukaku on another dry loan deal. Hence, Inter are going to offer a loan extension with an obligation to buy. So Chelsea will not have to worry about the transfer of the Belgian striker next summer, and Inter will spread out the finances.
The Nerazzurri will put forward a loan deal with lower fees than last year’s €8 million. Inter are willing to put a €5 million loan deal on the table for this season. But for the purchase obligation transfer fees, Inter are not going to go over €30 million for the former Man United striker. After an injury-prolonged season for Lukaku, Inter does not want to bet too much on him. However, he can be an asset coming from the bench. But Inter can not rely on him to start every game of the season.
