Inter will sign Davide Fratessi from Sassuolo

Inter will sign Davide Fratessi from Sassuolo for a fee of €25 million. The Italian midfielder will sign a five-year contract with the Serie A giants.

After Brozovic’s departure to Al-Nassr was completed, the Nerazzurri used the money to sign the young Italian sensation. Moreover, Milan were also keeping tabs on Fratessi as they wanted to replace Sandro Tonali. Roma were also keen on signing him.

According to Fabrizio Romano, personal terms were already agreed weeks ago. The Italian himself preferred a move to Inter. Moreover, Samuel Mulattieri will head the other way. The 22-year-old is valued at €8 million in the deal.

Mulattieri spent last season on loan at Frosinone and helped them to win the Serie B title and earn promotion. The striker scored 12 goals and gave four assists in 29 games for them.

The 23-year-old midfielder will earn around €2.8m net salary per season and will wear shirt number 16 for Inter.

Inter will sign Davide Fratessi as Brozovic’s replacement

Inter have finally offloaded Brozovic, as he wanted the move away from San Siro. However, Inter needed to seal his replacement quickly, as there were not many options in the market like Fratessi.

So, as soon as Al-Nassr signed Brozovic, Inter speeded up their pursuit of the Italian. Inter were having some problems with the Croatian midfielder. According to reports, he was not giving his 100% for the Nerazzurri in training and it frustrated them.

The Italian giants decided to sell him, and Saudi clubs were interested in signing them, but Barcelona also entered the race to sign him. However, they did not have the financial muscle to out-bid Al-Nassr.

Brozovic wanted to join the Catalan giants, but in the end, he decided to join Al-Nassr. It will be seen how good Fratessi will be to replace the Croatian in Inter’s midfield.
