Juventus hijack Gleison Bremer deal with Inter

Juventus hijack Inter Milan’s deal with Gleison Bremer, and Inter missed out on another player. After Dybala, Inter fail to sign Bremer, although they had an agreement with him. Inter Milan were negotiating with Torino and were close to signing Bremer. But Juve made a quick move and signed the Brazilian for €40 million plus some add-ons. The Bianconeri were eager to find a replacement for De Ligt who recently moved to Bayern Munich.

Inter were taking some time to finalize the deal with Torino as both clubs were struggling to find an agreement over the transfer fee. Inter were willing to give €30 million and Casadei on loan to Torino. But, Torino had a fixed value of €40 million for Bremer. Juve managed to meet their demand after selling the Dutch defender for €80 million. Both clubs quickly reached an agreement as Inter failed to outbid Juventus.

Bremer’s priority was Champions League and he liked the idea of staying in Serie A. The Brazilian defender was one of the best center-backs last season, hence both Inter and Juve were after him. The 25-year-old can take De Ligt’s place as he is good on the ball and is quick to track any forward. Juve were looking for a quick and aggressive defender to play alongside Bonucci. Bremer excels in tackles, interceptions, blocks, and aerial duels.

Inter Milan will now look to keep Milan Skriniar. Paris Saint Germain are after him, but Inter might not want to sell him now. The Slovenian defender can extend his contract with Inter as his current contract will expire next year in June. Inzaghi still needs a defender as Inter does not have enough cover at the back. Ranocchia has left, and De Vrij was inconsistent last season. Inter can go after Milenkovic from Fiorentina.
