Liverpool want Nicolo Barella for £56 million. As reported by Inter Live. Conte’s Inter continues their race for the title. Also, they have changed their gear as they thrashed their neighbours AC Milan and Genoa 3-0 in their last two matches. The Nerazzurri are favourites for the Scudetto now.

Barella is a fantastic player who looks to be heading towards his prime. He is proving to be an influential performer for Inter. So much so, that Inter are looking to make him captain after Samir. His goal and assist return prove that he possesses quality in the attacking third. Also, he is an effective defensive player. The 24-year-old averages 1.8 tackles per game in Serie A this season. That is superior to the likes of Jordan Henderson (1.1), James Milner (1.0) and Naby Keita (1.0) for Liverpool in the Premier League. That being said, whether or not Jurgen Klopp is willing to spend as much as £56million on a midfielder when he already has a plethora of options there, remains to be seen.

Nicolo Barella is a promising and highly talented young midfielder in the European sports media. He was named the best young Italian player born in 1997 for two years between 2012 and 2013. He knows how to find the right passes. Also, he has the stamina to operate as a box-to-box midfielder. He can win back possession quickly and recover the ball. He is a versatile player and is capable of playing anywhere in midfield. But his favoured role is as a right-sided, attacking midfielder, known as a “mezzala” in Italy. He has an eye for goal, he possesses a good shot from outside the area. Also, he has the ability to make late attacking runs from behind into the penalty area.

But Barella is quite happy at Inter as of now. He has developed a lot under Conte and would look to do the same for some more seasons.
