Lukaku meets with Al-Hilal as they offer $20M

Lukaku meets with Al-Hilal chiefs in Paris as the Saudi Club proposes a lucrative deal to the Belgian striker. After an underwhelming performance in the Champions League final, Lukaku had a meeting in Paris with Al-Hilal chiefs to discuss a potential move to Saudi Arabia. Lukaku will return to his parent club Chelsea if Inter do not extend his loan deal. But Chelsea are willing to sell him, and Al-Hilal are emerging as the club eager to sign him.

Lukaku had lots of ups and downs this season as the Belgian striker suffered for six months, recovering from his knee injury. Also, he had to take some time before coming back into shape. He had a disappointing World Cup but worked hard to return in the scheme of things for Inter. The Belgian striker returned to form and helped Inter in Serie A to comfortably finish in the top four as Inter were going through a rough patch. However, a loss in the Champions League has left a bad aftertaste.

Romelu Lukaku is willing to make a move to Al-Hilal, but he needs a better offer from the Saudi club. The clubs from Saudi Arabia have been active in this transfer window. They are ready to splash lucrative deals for big players from Europe to promote their league. Ronaldo already joined in January, and other players like Benzema and Kante will join for the next season. But Lukaku wants a better deal on the table and will soon meet with the club officials again.

The Nerazzurri can not afford to sign Lukaku permanently, and Chelsea are not considering him as a part of their plans going forward. So the Belgian striker is willing to make a move away from Europe if a big offer arrives.
