Bayer Leverkusen do not want to sign Inter’s wing-back Robin Gosens. Bayer’s director Simon Rolfes said recently after rumors came out that the club was looking to sign Gosens. Inter Milan signed Gosens in the winter transfer window on loan with the obligation to buy. But the German defender could not play enough games due to his injury. Also, he has been struggling to get back to his usual self since joining Inter.

Inzaghi has been starting Dimarco ahead of Gosens, who was seen as the replacement for Perisic. Dimarco has been impressive in the pre-season, and Inzaghi has rewarded him with starts this season. The Italian wing-back is excellent with his crosses and can make clever runs on the left flank. Hence, Gosens’ agent is looking for a new club and opened talks with Bayer Leverkusen. But the Bundesliga club’s director does not want to sign Gosens, also Inzaghi would like to keep him.

His agent had given a 60% possibility of Gosens moving to Bayer Leverkusen, but the club does not want to sign him. Also, they were looking for a loan move with no obligation to buy, and Inzaghi insisted to keep Gosens. The Italian manager also needs a center back before the transfer window closes.
