Chelsea propose double deal to Inter Milan

Chelsea propose a double deal to the Nerazzurri as they are looking to improve their defense. The Blues are having an underwhelming transfer window and are looking to sign a couple of players from Inter. The Nerazzurri are looking to sell some players because they have to generate profit as instructed by the owners. The Blues are targeting Milan Skriniar and Denzel Dumfries from the Nerazzurri.

Inzaghi does not want to sell Skriniar as he needs a strong defensive core for the next season. After losing out on Bremer, Inzaghi want to keep the Slovenian defender as he plays a key role in defense. Also, Inzaghi wants to keep Dumfries as the Dutch defender will be a regular starter this season. Although Inter have brought Bellanova who plays on the right flank, but he is young and will need time to develop.

The Blues recently lost out on Kounde as they were looking to add another defender to their backline. Now, Azpilicueta is looking for a move to Barcelona as well, so they need a center-back and a wing-back. Dumfries will be able to take Azpilicueta’s role as he can be a rotation option to Reece James. The English full-back can play at the right side of the back three as well. Tuchel is also looking to operate with a back four in some games, so he needs a full-back.

But both Dumfries and Skriniar are looking forward to staying at Inter. However, Beppe Marotta can agree to sell them if Chelsea come up with the right offer. Both clubs have a good relationship in terms of transfers, so a transfer can take place. The Inter CEO is asking €70 million for Milan Skriniar and €45 million for Denzel Dumfries.
