I hope Lukaku wins the Ballon d’Or says former Inter player Gaby Mudingayi. The ex-Inter midfielder said that Lukaku is one of the best strikers there is and he’s improving every day. Lukaku began his professional career with Anderlecht in 2009. He signed a four-year deal with them. He scored 20 goals in all competitions. However, Anderlecht could not retain their position in Serie A and were relegated. Although they finished on top of the table in the regular season.
Lukaku joined Chelsea in 2011 on a reported fee of €20 million with add-ons. In the 2013-14 season, he moved to West Bromwich Albion on loan. And further, he moved to Everton on loan in the next season. He signed a five-year deal for €28 million. After scoring eight goals at the end of the season, he was the highest goalscorer of the tournament alongside red Bull Salzburg. In 2017, he joined Manchester United on a five-year contract for a further year. He joined Inter Milan in the 2019-20 season.

Inter signed Mudingayi from Bologna on a €750,000 loan with an option to buy. He injured his Achilles tendon in January which cut short his career. In 2013, Inter signed him permanently but he only ended up playing eight minutes that season. He made 17 appearances for the club in total. Mudingayi praised Barella and said he is also the key for Inter. However, he said he hopes that Lukaku wins the Ballon d’Or.
While asked if Inter will win the Scudetto this season, he said they can win with this squad. He also said that Inter are in a really good position at the moment and their win is now in their hands. Lukaku recently was named the MVP and Lautaro was third from the top. Inter are currently on top of the Serie A table, 6 points ahead of city rivals AC Milan.
