Inter Milan have to sell a forward in order to sign Marcus Thuram. The French forward has been on the Nerazzurri’s radar for quite some time now. But Inter do not have enough space in the squad to accommodate him. Also, Inter will need some funds before making the signing. Joaquin Correa is the most likely candidate to leave the club, as the Argentine has not been able to prove his mettle at Inter Milan so far.
Marcus Thuram will be a great addition to Inter Milan, as he has all the qualities that can improve the attack. The Nerazzurri need a spark in attack, and a player that can work well in Inzaghi’s system. Thuram is versatile and has an explosive pace to hit in transitions. Also, he is good with the link up play and will enjoy a striker alongside him at the front. Inter are looking to make him sign a pre-agreement in January so that they can secure him as a free agent in the summer. Bayern Munich are also monitoring his situation at Gladbach.

The Nerazzurri could also sell Edin Dzeko, as he will be playing for Inter for one more year, and will not contribute in the future. So, selling him and bringing Thuram will be a good choice. Dzeko has been consistent this season, but he will have to move on to another club, sooner or later. Also, Inzaghi likes Correa so he might not leave Inter this early. The Argentine has shown that he has the quality to change the game after coming from the bench.
Romelu Lukaku could return to Chelsea as well if he fails to come back to his prime form. The Belgian has been struggling with injury for the almost whole season so far and failed to impress at the World Cup. Inter might have to think twice about renewing his loan deal from Chelsea in the summer.
