Inter target a left wing-back from Rennes as a replacement for Robin Gosens. The Nerazzurri are looking to upgrade their flanks in the winter transfer window. So, they will bring some new additions to help them domestically. Robin Gosens has struggled to settle at Inter and is looking for a way out. So Inter are searching for a replacement and have a couple of players on their radar. Adrien Truffert is one of the players that Inter are considering seriously.
The Nerazzurri have struggled to replace Ivan Perisic, who created loads of chances for Inter, and had the pace to get back and defend. But, they are now using Dimarco, who is exceptional with his crosses, and makes late runs in the box to score goals. However, Inter need a quality backup for him, as he runs up and down for the whole match, and there will be fixture congestion after the World Cup. Adrien Truffert is young and will be a long-term investment for Inter.
Inter target young Rennes wing-back, Adrien Truffert
Adrien Truffert is a complete player, with the ability to contribute on both sides of the pitch. Also, he can operate on the right flank as well, so Inter can use him as a backup to Dumfries. Both Dimarco and Dumfries do not have much competition in the team. Darmian and Gosens have been underwhelming this season. The German defender did not get much playing time and hence was left out of the Germany National team that traveled to Qatar for the World Cup.
Adrien Truffert was one of the best players for France in the Under-21 World Cup. There is heavy competition in the France National team, hence he could not get a call for FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Even Ferland Mendy was left out for the Hernandez brothers. But Truffert could get a chance in the Champions League with Inter.
