Inter to sell some players soon to generate funds for signing a defender. Inzaghi needs another defender as Ranocchia left and there is no cover for De Vrij. Also, the Dutch defender has been in poor form of late so Inter will need a defender to help in the rotation. But the Nerazzurri will have to sell some players first and they are waiting for Pinamonti’s deal to go through. The Italian forward is ready to move to Atalanta, but the club has not responded.
Inter are also working to sell Casadei as Chelsea are keen to sign a young midfielder. The Blues are looking to improve their midfield as they might lose some players next season. They are also keeping tabs on Barella, but the Nerazzurri are not willing to sell him. Casadei is Inter’s academy graduate and will give them a huge boost as Inter will receive all profits. The Blues have made an €8 million bid, but Inter want around €15 million for the young midfielder.

A couple of clubs have Pinamonti on their radar, but neither of them have come close to an agreement. The Italian striker prefers Atalanta, but the club has not made an offer yet. They are willing to make a swap deal, but Inter do not want that. Sassuolo are also in the picture as they lost Scamacca and might lose Raspadori as well in this transfer window.
Inter is looking to sign a center-back that is cheap and will be comfortable in getting less game time. The Nerazzurri are also targeting some free agents as Inter have some space in the wage bill after Sanchez’s departure. Inzaghi is pushing to sign his former player Acerbi from Lazio. The Italian center-back is calm on the ball and can be a perfect backup to De Vrij.
