Inter will not rush Lukaku back against Bayern

Inter will not rush Lukaku back against Bayern

Inter will not rush Lukaku as the Belgian is still recovering from his thigh injury. After losing to AC Milan, bringing Lukaku back into the team will help in the attack, but Inter do not want to risk a serious injury. Lukaku might not play before the international break, and Inzaghi will have to use Dzeko or Correa in place him. Inter managed to score plenty of goals without Lukaku last year, so Inzaghi will try to implement similar tactics.

Inzaghi could have used Romelu Lukaku against a big team like Bayern. The front duo of Lautaro and Lukaku can threaten any defense when they click. Also, the German giants have not faced a team like Inter so far this season. They have also dropped four points in their last two games so Inter have a chance to get something out of this fixture. The Nerazzurri are planning on playing Dzeko upfront with Lautaro like last season.

Inter will not rush Lukaku as Dzeko will get a chance against Bayern

According to reports, Inter will try to keep Lukaku during the international break to help him get back on track. The game against the Giallorossi is a target for the Belgian on October 1. Inzaghi will rotate the rest of the squad to avoid any injuries and keep everyone fresh. After a poor performance in the Derby, Handanovic could get some rest, and Onana can replace him.

Bayern Munich might be Inter’s toughest opponents this season so they will have to bring their best game. Inter will have to be attentive while defending as Bayern can punish on smallest of mistakes. Inzaghi will have to work on the defensive structure as Inter do not look good in transition and have conceded lots of goals since pre-season. Also, he might want to bring in some new faces to help in defense.
