International break a blessing for Inter Milan

International break a blessing for Inter Milan

The international break has come at the right time for Inter Milan. The Nerazzurri are struggling and needed a break to push the reset button. They are far below their usual standards and will be looking to improve and regroup during this break. Some players are out for international duty, but this break will come as a breath of fresh air for the rest of the team. Inzaghi will now have time to make some changes and discuss with his support staff how to take things forward.

The Italian manager is in direct contact with the CEO Beppe Marotta. He had a conversation on the phone with Marotta and will soon meet him in person. Inzaghi is seeking help and support to find ways to get Inter back on track. There are several changes Inzaghi should consider after a poor defensive performance so far this season. However, he still has the backing of the board and will look for solutions together with the team.

Inter have time to recover and improve during the International break

After losing three matches already, it seems like Inter have lost the plot. But both Inzaghi and Marotta feel that Inter are hardly out of the Scudetto race. Inter can turn things around with some changes in different areas. The Nerazzurri had a similar dip under Conte. But the team responded quickly, and with some tweaks in tactics, Inter were able to win the Scudetto. Inzaghi will also have time to guide players like Lukaku and Gosens, who are still adapting to his style of play.

The Nerazzurri this season are prone to counter-attacks, and Inzaghi will have to find a way to keep the shape in defense during possession. Also, Inter’s attacks are becoming repetitive and lack creativity. Inzaghi could use the 3-4-1-2 formation that worked well in some pre-season games.
