Juventus vs Inter second leg Coppa Italia semi-final

Juventus vs Inter second leg Coppa Italia semi-final

Juventus vs Inter second leg will be played at Allianz Stadium tonight. Old Lady won the first leg with 2-1. The Nerazzurri will have to win this game by a two-goal margin to cancel Bianconeri’s away goal advantage. An uphill task, but yet achievable.

Juventus are in brilliant form. They are coming into this leg with a six-game winning streak. The Old Lady have won 10 out of their last 11 matches. The sole defeat coming at the hands of Inter. So Antonio Conte’s men will be hoping to replicate that 2-0 performance last month in their bid to reach the Final of the Coppa Italia.

Inter hope for a comeback in Juventus vs Inter second leg

Hakimi and Lukaku will be back for Inter after serving their suspension in the last leg. But, Sanchez and Vidal are suspended this time. With Romelu Lukaku scoring just twice in his last six, a big performance is past due for the Belgian and it couldn’t come at a better time than now. Inter will rely on him and Lautaro to finish the chances created by the team. Christian Eriksen will be vital in this leg. He can create more chances and help to retain more possession. The Dane can play as a regista and ping perfect balls to free the forwards into acres of space. Conte has the option to start with Gagliardini or Sensi as well. They have the technical ability and the required energy to combine well with Barella. Unlike last time, the Nerazzurri have to be solid in defence, as they can’t afford to concede goals.

Meanwhile, Pirlo will rely on his solid defence who have 3 clean-sheets in their last 3 league games. It would be an enticing battle between the duos of Bonucci-Chiellini and Lukaku-Lautaro. Inter will also have to be wary of Ronaldo who is in a goal-scoring form of late. Can the Nerazzurri make a miraculous comeback to reach the Finals?
