Lautaro to extend contract with anti-Juve, Milan clauses

Lautaro Martinez to extend contract with Inter Milan until 2024 with his existing contract till 2022-23 season. Lautaro’s contract is ending this summer and the Nerazzurri wouldn’t want to lose him. Recently, he rejected offers from Real Madrid and Barcelona. Also, Barcelona offered a generous package to Lautaro but he chose to stay at Inter. The Argentine has excelled to be a crucial player for the Nerazzurri.

The duo, Lukaku and Lautaro from Lula, and are an indispensable pair for Inter. The Nerazzurri are extremely close to their dream of winning the Scudetto. Inter have reached the semi-finals after beating AC Milan in the quarter-finals by 2-1. The Italian giants chose to work with the existing players after Conte said that he does not ‘want’ any new-signings. Inter are struggling with finances due to the losses during the coronavirus pandemic. They’re looking for new investors due to the delay in wage payments of some players.

Lautaro to extend the contract with Inter as the Nerazzurri work on paying the best possible wages. He had asked the Nerazzurri for quadruple wages last year. However, with financial struggles, it would be impossible for Inter. Inter have agreed to double his wages from  €2 million to €4 million per year. While his agents were set to negotiate the amount to €5 million per year, his actual salary in the new contract is still unknown.

Lukaku, Christian Eriksen and Sanchez are the highest-paid players at Inter right now. At first, Lautaro asked for wages as high as theirs but he has dropped the idea now. He has decided to stay at the Nerazzurri with a salary of €5 million to start with. However, his agents will try and make it €7 million with bonuses. Conte has found the balance in his squad and has been going strong. Will Inter win the Scudetto this year?
