Lukaku receives a warm welcome from the Nerazzurri fans on his return to Milan. The Belgian has completed his loan move to Inter from Chelsea and is happy to be back. He went to Chelsea last year on a big-money move but the transfer did not work for both of them. Lukaku lost his form and was struggling to adapt while Chelsea could not accommodate him and the Belgian was out of favour for the most part. The Blues thought that he will be the final piece to their puzzle but Tuchel could not fit Lukaku in his system.
Inter seems to be the winner in this transfer saga as they managed to get £97.5 million and have now got Lukaku back on loan. The Belgian has reduced his wages to get back to Inter as the Nerazzurri will cover his full salary. Chelsea are now looking to change their attack as after Lukaku’s departure they are looking to sign Raphina.
Lukaku receives a warm welcome from Inter Milan fans
The Nerazzurri fans felt betrayed after Lukaku’s departure last season. But they came out to welcome as the Belgian arrived for his medicals on Wednesday. Lukaku said in an official interview that it feels like he is coming home. The Belgian forward said that his family loves Milan and he feels happy to be back at Inter. Lukaku also revealed that he was in contact with the Inter manager, Simeone Inzaghi throughout the last season.
With Lukaku back, Inter can revert to their lethal Lukaku and Lautaro duo in front. The Belgian striker creates space for his teammates and Lautaro is excellent at making in-behind runs. Lukaku said that the fans, teammates, and the manager Inzaghi were who motivated him to return to Inter. Finally, he said that he will give everything in training and matches to win games for Inter.
