Morata wants Inter move in this window

Alvaro Morata wants a move to Inter Milan, and the Nerazzurri are searching for a forward. After the decision to get Romelu Lukaku out of the club, Inter are planning to sign another forward and Morata is one of the candidates. The Nerazzurri will meet with the Spaniard’s agents today to discuss the potential transfer.

Inter immediately decided to sell the Belgian striker after knowing his connection with Juventus. Moreover, Pochettino does not consider Lukaku in his plans. The Blues are waiting for an offer from Juve or any Saudi Club. Lukaku’s relationship has deteriorated with both Inter and Chelsea, which is making it difficult to find a suitor for him. Also, his poor displays in the Champions League final and the World Cup does not help him.

Morata wants Inter to move, while Nerazzurri search for Lukaku’s replacement

Inter Milan have a couple of players on their radar to replace Lukaku. They are searching for a player that can be a good option for rotation, and be a threat coming from the bench. Inter have signed Marcus Thuram, who will start most of the games alongside Lautaro. But they need another forward for the upcoming long season.

Morata is a Serie A veteran, and his experience in Italy is a big factor behind Inter’s interest in him. The Nerazzurri want a reliable striker, who is willing to be a rotation option at Inter. Morata is inclined towards Inter because of their recent success in the Champions League.

However, there is some ambiguity over his release clause amount. In Morata’s current deal with Atletico, the release clause is €21 million. But if the Spanish striker signs a new contract, his release clause will drop to €12 million, which Inter can afford to pay. The Nerazzurri are also interested in Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun.
