Bayern eye Chalobah and Kalulu as Benjamin Pavard’s replacement. The Nerazzurri are keen to get the French defender, but the Bundesliga giants are waiting to secure a replacement for him. Pavard has agreed to the personal terms and is ready to move, but Tuchel does not want to sell unless he gets an alternative option. Pavard has been staying out of the squad or playing on the bench as he does not want to continue.

The Bavarians have identified a couple of targets from Chelsea and AC Milan. One is Trevoh Chalobah, which even Inter have been targeting since last year. The English defender is versatile, and Bayern are looking for a defender, who can operate at the back and on the right as well. Moreover, Chalobah is excellent on the ball so he will fit nicely in Tuchel’s system. Inter will hope Bayern find their replacement soon as they wish to acquire Pavard.

The Bundesliga giants are also considering Kalulu from the Nerazzurri rivals, AC Milan. The French defender is another versatile option to replace Pavard. He can play as a full-back and operate in a back three. Kalulu has the pace so Tuchel can sustain his high line with him at the back. However, Bayern have not made any contact with the Rossoneri for the French defender.

Inter Milan and Bayern have agreed to the transfer fees of €30 million plus €2 million in add-ons. But Bayern are stalling the transfer as they seek an alternative. However, the transfer window will soon shut, and Bayern could lose Pavard next year on a free transfer. So the Bavarians will have to move fast for Chalobah or Kalulu to give Pavard to Inter. Meanwhile, Inter will continue with Darmian at the right side of the back three.
