Hakan Calhanoglu suffers a minor blow but he will be able to play for Inter. He got a knock when he played against Latvia in the World Cup qualification match. Turkey managed to beat Latvia 2-1 and Hakan is back with Inter Milan’s squad. Some reports suggested that Calhanoglu had suffered an injury, which is not the case. He will be available for Inter’s match against Lazio on Saturday. Dzeko is also back with Inter’s squad as his international duty also came to an end after a draw with Ukraine. Calhanoglu has been impressive for Inter so far after his move from AC Milan.
Calhanoglu has scored one goal and given 2 assists so far in his 8 matches in Inter’s shirt. He was brought as a replacement for Eriksen who suffered cardiac arrest in the Euros 2020 in his first match. Calhanoglu has done that job and Inzaghi has used him well as he brings much more control to the midfield. He is slightly different from Eriksen as the Dane liked to stay behind to orchestrate attacks. While Calhnoglu likes to move up to link up with forwards. Although some times he is not able to do his defensive duties as he looks to push forward. But he is a quality midfielder and is slowly settling in Inter’s system.
Calhanoglu suffers a minor blow but will be available against Lazio
Simeone Inzaghi will play against his former team on Saturday and he would like to have a fully fit squad at his disposal. Calhanoglu and Dzeko are doing their personalized training and will soon join with the rest of the squad. Inzaghi knows Lazio’s players well and he will formulate his tactics accordingly.
Inter are currently third in Serie A, as they are 4 points behind Napoli and 2 points behind AC Milan.
