Christian Eriksen linked to Arsenal after struggling at Inter

Christian Eriksen linked to Arsenal amidst his recent link with former club, Tottenham. The attacking midfielder has been on the radar of several clubs now for the past few months. Arsenal are potential contenders to get his signature. Wolves, Real Madrid and his boyhood club Ajax are not far behind. The Danish midfielder is one of the best when he plays his natural game. Eriksen came to Inter with dreams of playing for the massive Italian club but that did not work out in his favour. Additionally, Eriksen joined Inter in January last year amidst the pandemic which affected his psychological being. However, things got better for him that way but the former Spurs star’s equation with Conte was not good enough.

While Eriksen could not fit into Conte’s system, Conte wasn’t very generous either. The Nerazzurri boss did not give enough playtime to Eriksen to regain his form. Furthermore, Inter got Eriksen for £17m in a deal with Tottenham Hotspur and grabbed the opportunity. But his time at the San Siro has been nothing short of a nightmare.

Christian Eriksen linked to Arsenal for the second time ever, since the Nerazzurri officially put him on the transfer list in November. They are offloading Eriksen and a few other players to achieve their dream team to win the Scudetto.

Recently, Danish National coach Kasper Hjulmand criticized Conte’s decision to keep a talented midfielder like Eriksen on the bench. He said Eriksen might lose his form if he stays on the bench for too long. Meanwhile, Eriksen has not made any requests for a move away from Inter. Although the Dane should consider the move to regain his form and make the most of his career.
