Kevin De Bruyne’s gesture to Christian Eriksen after scoring a goal is been appreciated by everyone. Eriksen had a cardiac arrest in Denmark’s first game in the Euros. His teammates formed a circle around him and he got immediate medical attention. After that he got to a Copenhagen hospital. The Doctor said that it was good that he got instant medical attention and he is stable now. Also, Eriksen sent a thank you message on social media saying he is fine now and he is thankful for the love and support. Eriksen will now undergo some detailed tests.

Denmark had a strong start to the game as they scored the first goal in just two minutes. Yussuf Poulsen struck early as Belgium’s defense did not look ready. He placed his shot at the far corner and beyond Courtois’ reach. Also, Denmark’s fast forwards gave the Belgium defense many problems but they settled into the game slowly. Both the teams stopped at 10 minutes which is Eriksen’s jersey number, to pay their tributes to him as Dries Mertens stopped the play. Also, Eriksen will get a heart starter as a part of the treatment.

He picked Thorgan Hazard perfectly who equalized the score for Belgium. After that Roberto Martinez brought Alex Witsel and Eden Hazard in which gave Belgium more control in the game and they started to make quality chances. In the 70th minute, Lukaku controlled the long ball and gave to Hazard who after a lovely exchange with Tielemans rolled the ball to De Bruyne for the winner.

Roberto Martinez said that these games give the team a lot of confidence.
