Inter Milan will replace Christian Eriksen in the next season. The Dane got a cardiac arrest in the Euros in his first match. He will have to stay away from football for some time and focus on his treatment and recovery. So Inter will have to play their next season without him. It will be difficult to replace him as he was a regular for Inter this year. So Inter are going to loan a midfielder into their team and are weighing up their options.
Eriksen came to Inter from Tottenham Hotspur and had to take some time to settle. Mostly he was used as a substitute by Conte in the start. Primarily for his set-piece taking ability. But slowly he understood Conte’s system and adapted himself to Inter’s style of play. Previously with Spurs he liked to play with his instincts. But at Inter Conte has his own system and every player has a specific role to play in the match.
Inter will replace Eriksen next season with a midfielder from loan
The Nerazzurri will like to keep their other midfielders in the squad for next season. Uruguay’s Matias Vecino, who impressed everyone in the last few matches. They will also keep Stefano Sensi who has playing style similar to Eriksen, however he does not possess that vast range of passing. But the main problem is that both these midfielders were not able to play in the previous season because of their injuries. So Inter will have to bring another midfielder from loan to cover the position and provide some options to Simone Inzaghi.
But Inter are struggling financially and it will be tough to bring a player without selling one. The Nerazzurri are trying to sell Hakimi if the right bid arrives. They will have to sell him to make profit before the end of this month.
