Furthermore, he made his Champions League debut in a group stage match against Borussia Dortmund replacing Lukaku.
In fact, he is the second-youngest ever after Giuseppe Bergomi to feature in the Champions League for the club. He made his Serie A debut aged 17, where he came in as a substitute for Lautaro Martinez at a home match against Parma. He scored his first goal, on his full debut, in a 4-0 win against Genoa. The youngster moved to SPAL on loan in September 2020.
