Hakimi is irreplaceable at Inter under Antonio Conte. The Nerazzurri boss played an important role in bringing Hakimi to Inter. And it is certain that Hakimi has established himself as an important player for Inter. He joined Real Madrid’s youth setup at the age of eight. Furthermore, he was promoted to the reserves in June 2016. He scored his first senior goal in September 2016 at CF Fuenlabrada. The match ended in a 1-1 draw. Further, he made 28 appearances during the campaign. However, he was still too young to go back to the youth side and play in the final of Copa del Rey Juvenil.

In August 2017, Hakimi got a place in the main squad as a backup to Dani Carjaval and Nacho and received the number 19 jersey. On his first team and La Liga debut in October, they won by 2-0 over RCD Espanyol. Madrid won the 2017-18 UEFA Champions League title wherein Hakimi became the first Moroccan player to win the Champions League.

His blazing pace and clever tactics have made him one of the most mortal players in Serie A.
