Inter Milan forward rejects Juventus’ transfer move as he wants to continue with the Nerazzurri. According to reports Edin Dzeko received an offer from Juve recently, but he decided to stay with Inter. Inter have brought Lukaku back on loan, and the Belgian is expected to be a regular starter with Lautaro upfront. So, Dzeko will serve as a backup striker and might not get enough game time this season, But still, the Bosnian wants to play for Inter as he believes he has more chance to win trophies here.
Edin Dzeko had a great season with Inter, but he could not get Inter over the line. Also, his form got down in the latter part of the season, and Sanchez got more chances. Now, Inter are going to use Dzeko in some games as he is still brilliant against teams that have a low block. The Bosnian can use his height and score headers from crosses. Also, he can help in rotation as players will have loads of matches this season.
Inter Milan forward Edin Dzeko rejects Juventus move
The Bianconeri are in search of a striker who can partner their winter signing Vlahovic. Allegri is also contemplating playing a 4-3-3 so, he wants a backup for his star forward. With Dybala and Morata gone, Juve needs a forward who can link up well and share the burden of scoring goals with Vlahovic. Dzeko is a perfect option for that, but the Bosnian striker is not keen to move away from Inter.
Inter Milan would have been reluctant to sell Edin Dzeko either way as Juve are the rivals. The Nerazzurri will need a big squad if they wish to compete in all competitions this season. Also, Inter are planning to offload Sanchez, which gives Edin Dzeko enough chance to play.
